        Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, 5th President of India, Mr. Ahmed, a member of the India National Congress Party, served in the Assam Legislative Assembly from before entering national politics, and sat in the Lok Sabha from until accepting the appointment to the presidency by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He died of a heart.   Earlier it was fakhruddin ali ahmed a muslim governor of West Bengal who allowed free entry for many bangladeshi muslims into India letting them consolidate as one massive vote bank for congress party & their communist allies (jypti basus etc). In the early morning, a large number of leaders and workers of the opposition parties were arrested. president, B.D. Jatti, has assumed the presidency upon the death of Pres. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed. Ahmed died today of a heart attack. He was 71 years old. India's constitution requires a new president to be elected within six months. The government has ordered a 13day mourning period for Pres. Ahmed.
